Day 4

Jeremiah 9:23

“Let not the wise boast of their strength or the rich boast of their riches, but let the one who boasts boasts about this: that they have the understanding to know me.’

I find myself boasting about money or how well I’m doing. Before this lesson I was day dreaming about wealth and showing it off to my friends.

I will consistently walk with you lord & boast about how stronger our relationship has gotten.

Dear Heavenly father,

I thank you for your unconditional love and knowledge. Thank you for giving me more insight about how I should live life. I will boast how amazing you are lord. Amen.

Day 5

Permeate to spread throughout something.

I will rejoice when others receive good. I will remember all God’s goodness on my behalf. I am content with God’s sovereign gifts.

Joy permeates our disposition despite trail, heartache, or pain. It is an attitude of spirit that is fixed upon eternal glories and heavenly blessings so much that the sorrows of earth do not cause our soul to despair.

Rejoice when you are going through a storm. Rejoice when others around you are constantly winning. Remember the main goal of being a christian. Every storm WILL end. Things will be alright. Have faith in him.

When I see others do good I will genuinely feel joy. Most of the time I do. I need to put the work in if I want to bear the fruits of labor.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for showing me a deeper meaning of joy today. My life is not where I want it right now but I will continue to seek you. I will continue to be consistent with you. I will continue to love you no matter how hard I fall. My time will come lord. My time will come. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Day 8

Meekness = gentleness, strength under control, not weak nor timid.

With meekness we do not blame God for undesirable circumstances, nor to we become angry with him when we do not get our way.

Contrary = the opposite in nature

Meekness must come from the power of the Holy Spirit. Contrary to meekness are despair, anger, wrath, impatience, anxiety, fear, and envy.

Blessed are the meek for they will inherit the earth.

I need more meekness to represent God.

Be consistent in getting closer to God. Growth will happen no matter what.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for this lesson today. Thank you for showing me what meekness is. I need to be like humble and strong no matter the circumstance.

Day 9

Ephesians 4

As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the caliing you received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the spirit through the bond of peace.

I feel like I can very patient for the most part. But with finding love AND taking enough time to learn how to love someone correctly can be the issue.

To be comfortable ALONE. To not rush the process.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Please give me the patience that I need to build my foundation. I just see the clock ticking and I’m looking for my wife. I feel like I’m finding new women in the wrong ways. In the back of my head I know the chances are slim but I still try. I’m just asking for you to please be with me and give me hope through this process. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
