  • Expressions using 같다:
    • 봄 같다 - It’s like spring
    • ~기도 하다(grammar) - also, sometimes
    • 봄 같기도 하다 - It’s also like spring
    • 초여름 같기도 하다 - It’s also like the beginning of summer

  • Reason for Learning Korean:
    • 왜냐하면 제 문화는 빼앗겼고, 한국 문화는 아름답다고 생각하기 때문이에요. - The reason I learn Korean: because my culture was stolen and I think yours is beautiful.
    • 한국 문화가 아름다워서요 - It’s because Korean culture is beautiful.
    • 한국 문화가 아름다워서 한국어를 배우고 있어요 - Because Korean culture is beautiful, I am learning Korean.
    • Because I have good Korean teachers, I promise I will continue learning. - 좋은 한국어 선생님이 있어서 계속 배울 거라고 약속해요.

  • Saying "I don't like it":
    • 싫어 - I don’t like it
    • 싫다고 말했어요 - I said that I don’t like it
    • 싫다고 말했잖아 - I told you that I don’t like it (more aggressive)
    • 너가 싫다고 말했잖아 - You told me that you don’t like it (more aggressive)
    • 니가 싫다고 말했잖아 - You told me that you don’t like it (even more aggressive)
  • Grammar:

  • Expressions related to hunger:
