Modern Stone Facades
Most modern stone facades aren’t stacked from the ground. They’re usually thin stone panels fixed back to a support system using hidden anchors.

Two common systems:
Kerf Cut Angle is a system that involves cutting a groove (kerf) into the stone panels to allow for a simple and cost-effective method of anchoring them into place.

Undercut Anchor is a system that provides a cleaner appearance and better load distribution by using anchors that are embedded into the stone, allowing for more stability and aesthetic appeal.

Both do the same job but in very different ways. One is simpler and more cost-effective. The other gives a cleaner appearance and better load distribution.
