Blocking - is a defensive skill used to prevent the ball to get inside the court and hit the ground it needs timing and strategic positioning
Spiking - offensive attack done by forcing the ball to hit the ground without being touched by the opponent
overreaching - a move wherein the hands are extended above the net and into the portion of the opposing side
Ball setting technique - is used in an offensive play particularly before the spiker attacks the ball
