💡 Strategy for your exam:
When you hit the Reading Section, look for these "Speed Bumps":
The "Interruption": If someone is doing something (Imperfect) and something else happens (Preterite).
Example: "Yo leía (Imperfect) cuando el teléfono sonó (Preterite)."
The "Scene": If the paragraph is just describing the setting (the weather was nice, the palace was big), stay in the Imperfect.
