Introduction to A1 PDF Editor
- Purpose: Provide a short introductory guide on navigating A1 PDF Editor, its main features, and usage instructions.

Home Screen Overview
- Upon opening A1 PDF Editor, users are presented with the Home tab.
- Bottom screen features:
- Create New Button: A primary navigation tool.
- Files Tab: Used for accessing saved or recent files.
- Home Tab Details:
- This tab showcases recently opened files and a list of Favorites.
Create New Features
- Create New Button: Houses essential features for creating and editing PDF documents.
- Create PDF: Function to create a blank new PDF document.
- Scan: Utilizes the device's camera as a scanning tool; allows users to take a picture that converts into a PDF file.
- Import From Files: Enables users to import files from their device for easy editing.
Accessing File Features
- After opening a file, various tabs appear at the top center of the screen:
- Viewer Tab: Displays the PDF file's content for review.
- Content Edit Tab: For editing text and images within the PDF.
- Annotation Tab: Allows for adding comments or notes within the document.
- Form Tab: Provides options to fill out forms embedded in the PDF.
- Accessing features is done through the toolbar located just below these tabs.
Editing Operations
- To edit content in the PDF:
- Navigate to the Edit tab.
- Options available:
- Text Option: Allows users to edit text within the PDF.
- Images Option: Enables editing of images and graphic elements.
- Once text or images are selected, editable areas will display:
- Borders Around Editable Text: Indicates areas where text can be modified.
- Anchors Around Images: Indicates movable and resizable graphic elements.
- Editable features include:
- Change font style, color, and size of text.
- Add or edit existing text.
- Insert new images.
Organizing Pages
- To alter the PDF structure:
- Select the Pages Navigation feature while in the main document view.
- Pages navigation can be found:
- At the header of the screen on iPhones.
- In the top right corner of the interface on other devices.
- Annotating text enhances reading and information retrieval.
- How to Annotate:
- Selection of the Annotate Tool from the top toolbar.
- Choose annotation color and tool style from the bottom toolbar for customization.
