NT is dead, died fived days b4 New Year

before NT died the family tried everything and every doctor

NT was a successful merchant and good man so many people came to pay their respect to him

they face a problem during the funeral which was the kong tek procession

procession requiring, ideally, a son and his son. The eldest male heir walks at the head of the funeral procession carrying joss sticks in a sand-filled vase. A white cloth banner bearing the name of the deceased, the district where he was born, and his age should be carried by the son's son, directly behind the coffin. Other members of the family lead remaining friends, relatives and, often, paid mourners. Buddhist monks usually walk between relatives and friends a few yards behind the coffin.

Several weeks before NT death, TSU and his family visit NT

NT and TSU talked

NT already prepared everything, where he wanna be and what coffin he wanna be in

NT says he’s not afraid of death

TSU starts describing the difference between how Chinese and Thais perceive death, how thai is afraid of it and chinese just accept it

“to speak of death is to invite“

NT want AB to get married, he say women should depend on husband, AB was like “HUh”

apparently Tae Lim visited NT because he wanted Seng to marry AB since the last time ME wont marry him

AB refused

NT called her daughter a “left over“ and tell her to marry Seng

AB refused, NT so mad

NT por the baby and say he look like him (baby actually look like TSU)

after a while they leave

TSU strted to get emotional and think of the past of him with NT and NT household

NT died in his sleep

AB prepared her father’s funeral planning and put him in a coffin

ME stayed with her mother, AB and TSU went different way to do diff task

LYC is sad cz his cousin died

TSU and ME fight about buying live chicken or alrd killed chicken from the market

They start the ceremony

They sad so they cry

When ceremony end, AB collapsed

on the way home, TSU and LYC had a talk

LYC told him that he was very lonely before he ask TSU to be his son and that he fear no one would mourn for his death

Basically he dun wanna be forgotten

TSU assured him that he will fulfill his role as a son

NT’s will was divided into 2, half for ME and half for AB

plus the store belong to AB

ME was angry but didnt say anything until she arrived home and got mad that her father did not left anything for his grandson

He tried to convince her to make her happy by saying that they will use the money for LYC’s factory and it will make them rich

she giggled
