  • Blood type O is recessive; all others are dominant.
  • Important to review blood types.

Sex-Linked Traits

  • Review sex-linked traits (pages 88-91).
  • Males: XYXY, Females: XXXX.
  • X chromosome carries the sex-linked trait.
  • Males inherit the Y chromosome from their father.
  • Males inherit sex-linked traits from their mother.
  • Females who carry the trait but are normal are called carriers.
