Aseptic Technique Practicum

Procedure:

  1. Light bunsen burner

  2. Sterilize loop in bunsen burner flame

  3. Let it cool for 20 seconds

  4. Open sample tube and pass mouth of tube through flame 2-3x

  5. Aseptically grab a loopful of sample

  6. Flame mouth of tube 2-3x and close
