  1. Labels

Supplier: Must contain detailed items information about the product and its hazard

Workplace: Used on containers after substances are transferred from another container


  1. Safety Data Sheet (SDS)

  • Provides detailed information about a product’s properties, its hazard and how to prevent over exposure

  • If a supplier learns of changes to a hazardous product’s classification, storage/handling, or protection measures, they must update the SDS within 90 days.

  • SDS are maintained online and can be retrieve electronically, refer it for further information about particular chemical products
