Congratulations to the 17 students from Mary Munford Elementary who participated in the District 8 Virginia History Day Contest on Saturday!
After months of researching historical topics and developing their projects, students proudly showcased their hard work and creativity. Out of seven projects submitted, five have advanced to the 2026 Virginia History Day (VHD) State Contest, which will be held at the Virginia Museum of History & Culture on April 25–26, 2026.
