  • Concentration Camps: a prison that Jews and other enemies of Nazi Germany would go and many were killed

    • After the war broke out, the Germans took over the other countries and put Jews all over Europe in the Ghettos

    • Pretty soon, the Germans started moving people out of the ghettos and into Concentration Camps

      • the ghettos started getting too big and the Germans needed a better way for them to be placed

    • Jews were loaded into cattle cars to go to the camps

      • train rides could last two weeks

      • 100-125 people were forced into the camps and had to stand

      • they were forced to stand and use the restroom in a small bucket

Concentration Camp

  • The people that were able to do work would be worked to death making things for Nazi Germany

  • People that were too old or young were immediately put to death

  • The Nazi’s goal was to kill all the Jews in Europe

    • Many socialists were also sent to the camps

  • Death camps were in Poland, because they don’t want people to find them

  • Hitler used propoganda to influence the people and make them agree with Hitler

  • Propoganda was used to make Germany seem greater and Jews seem like a threat
