No Lab Today:

Some students missed this notification, which means they have a free afternoon today.
Midterm Grades:
Midterm grades have been posted, but they do not include the second exam grades.
Multiple-choice portion of the exam has been graded, and grading of essays is still in progress as they take a significant amount of time.
Essays traditionally improve grades due to their structure and potential bonus opportunities.
The average score for the second exam is expected to improve the overall midterm grades for most students.
Students are encouraged that the book review assignment has not been included in the midterm calculations.
Book Review Assignment:
Rubric for the book assignment posted, worth 15% of the course grade.
Students are encouraged to complete the assignment to help improve their overall scores.
