The people are going to celebrate Ceasar but Flavius and Marullus are cautious because of past events.

Summary
In Act 1 Scene 3, Caesar is becoming king. Cassius is jealous of Caesar and conspires to overthrow him. Cassius and Casca go to Brutus to convince him to work with them. The Soothsayer predicts all this!!!!!
Act 1:
In three scenes total Caesar conquers Pompey
Two tri boons give caution to the people about how they already had a government and it didn’t end well
Lupercala: the festival going on
Soothsayer: Beware the idles of March- he’s foreshadowing something bad coming up
Rome is a republic they don’t want tyranny or dictatorship
Brutus is Caesar’s best friend-Brutus does not want to see dictatorship again so he doesn’t want Caesar to take over. Brutus is thinking about the country, not his BFF.
Cassius is jealous and wants to overthrow the dictatorship. He butters up Brutus by reminding him of his ancestry. Creates letters from fake concerned citizens.

Cinna: puts the letters in Brutus's window
Act 2 Summary: Brutus comes home and his wife asks what is wrong with him. He says that he is just sick. Portia stabs herself in the leg and Brutus is about to tell her when there is a knock on the door. Calpunia, Caesar’s wife, is having nightmares about Caesar being killed and begs him to stay home and he decides to stay home when Decilous comes in and asks if Caesar is a coward. And if he is not there then they can’t crown him.
Act 3 Summary: Cinna is the conspirator
Decius gives J.C a letter and the conspirator takes Mark Antony away so no one can save him Casca stabs J.C- J.C. says e tu brute(and you Brutus)-J.C. can’t believe his BFF betrayed him Antony asks if he can carry J.C.'s body to the town and speak to the people Brutus addresses the crowd 1st then Antony speaks 2ndand convinces the people that J.C. is innocent then reads J.C.’s will which says that he leaves money to all the people and the crowd is determined to revenge J.C. by killing the conspirators.
