14.1- What is Correct Reasoning?

Correct Reasoning- valid and sound process of drawing conclusions ensuring logic and consistency in thought process

  1. Analogical Reasoning- two things under comparison based on similarities to something else

  2. Figurative Reasoning- two things under comparison are not essentially the same

  3. Literal Reasoning- two things under comparison that are very much alike

14.2- Inductive Reasoning

A type of reasoning in which examples or specific instances are used to supply strong evidence and conclusion

14.3- Deductive Reasoning

A type of reasoning in which conclusion is based on multiple premises and assumption based on truths

14.4- Logical Fallacies

errors in reasoning in invalid arguments and irrelevant points
