COVID-19 cases tend to increase every summer, not because of the warm weather but rather because of how people behave at this time. Summer is a season for travel, vacations, and big events like festivals, concerts, and reunions with family. These gatherings bring a large number of people together, increasing the possibility that the infection may spread swiftly. Many people also stop being cautious since it seems like the pandemic is over, which adds to the increase in outbreaks.

There are natural ways to strengthen the body and reduce the risk of infection even in the absence of vaccinations. The body gets the nutrients it needs by eating a balanced diet full of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean meats. The immune system is strengthened by vitamins like C, D, and zinc, and the body is given the strength and energy to fight against disease by drinking enough of water, exercising frequently, and getting enough sleep.

In addition to strengthening the immune system, prevention requires good behaviors and alert safety measures. The risk of becoming ill can be decreased by regularly washing your hands, avoiding close contact with sick people, and using filters or opening windows to keep the air inside your home fresh. Stress management and mask wearing in crowded places also have a big impact. People can protect themselves and others, particularly during the summer months when COVID-19 tends to resurface, by combining these lifestyle choices with proper cleaning.

Safe and Sunny

During this summer, there was an unexpected rise in COVID-19 cases. Despite the fact that the epidemic is no longer in the news, COVID-19 occurrences continue to rise throughout the summer months when people travel and gather for concerts, reunions, festivals, and other large social events. This increase is a result of how individuals act and interact at this time, not the hot weather.

Since I am working toward a degree in health administration and I actually care about how people take care of their health, this issue matters to me. These cases serve as a reminder that while individuals want to enjoy life, it is equally important to remain cautious and mindful. It encourages me to spread the word that having fun and staying safe and healthy are possible.

In fact, my cousin, who tested positive for COVID-19 , but never showed any symptoms, comes to mind. With his decision not to get vaccinated , he continued to take vitamins, drink tea, and use natural remedies. His story demonstrates to me how your response to illness can be influenced by how we take care of our body.

I want to tell everyone, enjoy your summer, but don't forget to look after your health! Remember to take your vitamins, eat a healthy diet, drink lots of water, wash your hands, and get enough sleep. If you’re sick or have allergies, wearing a mask in crowded areas and making sure the indoor air quality is good will keep you and other people safe. Your daily decisions can maintain an immune system that is strong without the need for a vaccination. Being cautious does not prevent you from having fun; rather, it allows you to do so while being safe.
