3/ prediction futur (niche/ populraire)

1/ I was introduced to philosophy in high school because it was a mandatory subject. At first I didn’t really like this subject but over time I’ve come to appreciate it.

2/ I think it’s good to study philosophy because it helps you develop your critical thinking skills and your way of thinking. It’s important to ask ourselves questions about the world around us. I believe that philosophy is a foundation of our society even if we don’t realize it, it helps us govern our institutions such as the justice system for instance. What is considered right or wrong in our criminal codes comes from philosophical debates on morality. The way we react depending on the situation and the choices we make are shaped by philosophy, especially through the stoicism reminder that we only control our inner responses not external events. In my daily life this helps me regulate my emotions so i dont waste my energy stressing over things that I can’t control. Philosophy also helped me discover and understand other point of views or way of thinking. There are three philosophical concepts that i really like and that are helping me in my everyday life: firstly nihilism reveals that life has no meaning and no ultimate goal. It helps me relieve my stress when i fail an exam for instance it reminds me that’s in the end it doesn’t matter that much. Secondly absurdism refers to the conflict between the human desire to find meaning and the total silence of the universe. It helps me go through boring routines by choosing to be happy instead of being miserable. Last but not least, existentialism says that since life has no meaning its up to me to do what i want. It reminds me that my life is my own and that I don't need to live up to people's expectations of me, i make the choices that i want to make without caring about what others might say.

3/ my prediction is that philosophy will not remain in just an academic subject, it will become more popular. I think philosophy will evolve as society modernizes. Now we no longer need to open a book to find ways to relieve our stress or mental Burdens because most of these knowledge can be found in TikTok or YouTube videos. I believe that philosophy will become an essential everyday life skill for everyone.
