  • Ongoing monitoring of Communist Terrorist Groups (CTG)

    • Presence, movements, and sightings in remote / geographically-isolated & disadvantaged areas (GIDAs) remain the primary threat to peace & order.

    • Recorded for the review period:

    • 3 violent incidents

    • 27 non-violent incidents (movements, presence, sightings, propaganda, etc.)

  • Latest violent encounters (chronological):

    • 03/16/2025 – Army encounter in Balimpan, Sultan Kudarat

    • 03/17/2025 – Encounter in Maitum, Sarangani Province

  • CTG main guerrilla fronts operating in the Area of Responsibility (AOR):

    • Still active but weakened by Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) & other gov’t offensive ops.

    • Retains influence in a few rural GIDAs where basic gov’t services are sporadic.

Crime Situation Report (04/01 – 06/30/2025)

  • Overall crime incidents declined by 6.06\%:

    • From 2{,}095 (CY 2024) → 1{,}968 (CY 2025) ; drop of 127 incidents.

  • Indicators:

    • Peace & Order Indicator (POI: e.g., physical assault, public-order disturbance)

    • Decreased by 8.17\% (-92 incidents).

    • Public Safety Indicator (PSI: vehicular accidents, quasi offenses)

    • Decreased by 3.61\% (-35 incidents).

    • Total dropped from 342 → 254 (-88 incidents | 25.73\% decline).

    • All categories registered decreases; most prevalent = Theft with 75 incidents.

    • Facilitated voluntary surrender of 1 CTG member (GF-71 / GF-73, FSMR; both fronts dismantled).

    • Makilala MPS + 39th IB, 10ID, PA + PHPT North Cotabato.

    • Served warrant vs. Municipal-level CTG Most-Wanted Person.

    1. 06/14/2025 — Brgy. Katubao, Kiamba, Sarangani

    • 1204th MC, RMFB-12 + Kiamba MPS / MLT + 1005th PA (Charlie Coy) + 2nd SPMFC + RID-12 Foxtrot Tracker Team.

    • Minor Internal Security Operation (OpPlan “Kome Atitio Talok Udi”).

Campaign Against Local Terrorist Groups (LTGs)

  • 1 LTG personality surrendered.

  • 1 firearm confiscated.
