Type of Entrepreneur

🌟 What is an Intrapreneur?
An intrapreneur is like an entrepreneur working inside a big company.
They don’t start their own business — instead, they use their creativity and innovation within the company to create new products, services, or improvements.
They act like a “business owner” inside the organization.
🌟 What is Intrapreneurship?
Intrapreneurship is the process of creating new ideas, innovations, or changes within a company, led by intrapreneurs.
Think of it as “entrepreneurship inside an organization.”
🔹 Simple Example:
Imagine a worker in a large tech company who comes up with a new idea for a mobile app.
Instead of leaving the company to start a business, they develop that app inside the company.
• The worker = Intrapreneur
• The act of developing the new app inside the company = Intrapreneurship
🔹 Why it happens:
Because companies want:
• new ideas
• innovation
• competitive advantage
• motivated and creative employees
So, they allow employees to think boldly and create new things.
đź’ˇ In short:
• Intrapreneur = a creative, innovative employee who behaves like an entrepreneur inside the company.
• Intrapreneurship = the process of creating new things within the company.
Same entrepreneurial spirit — but inside an existing organization, not outside.

Types of Entrepreneurs Entrepreneurship can take three different forms. They are: 1. The individual entrepreneur: An individual entrepreneur is someone who started; acquired or franchised his/her own independent organization. The major portion of this module is also devoted to describe the basic features and activities of the individual entrepreneur.
2. Intrapreneur: An Intrapreneur is a person who does entrepreneurial work within large organization. The process by which an intrapreneur affects change is called Intrapreneurship.
3. The Entrepreneurial Organization: The entrepreneurial function need not be embodied in a physical person. Every social environment has its own way of filling the entrepreneurial function.
