The Position of the MAST Manager

Duties & Responsibilities

  • 5.1 Administration

    • Oversight of the St John's site and MAST building including upkeep and security

    • Responsible for the entire operation of the Moana Hostel

    • Prepare reports and updates to The MAST Management Committee on the operation of the MAST and Moana Hostel

    • Purchase of equipment and catering needs for the MAST and Moana Hostel operation

  • 5.2 Finance

    • Liaise with the Diocesan Treasurer on financial matters regarding the whole operation

    • Monitor the general operating budget

  • 5.3 Human Resources

    • Work with the Diocesan Secretary/Registrar on staff recruitment and welfare for staff under the Moana Hostel department

    • Include staff contracts, fortnightly pays and overtime

  • 5.4 Marketing & Sales

    • Promote the MAST & Moana Hostel for accommodation and conference facility as a mission of the church

    • Completion of all documentation for clients using the facility, including quotes and invoices

    • Respond to queries regarding the conference and hostel facilities in a timely manner
