The Position of the MAST Manager
The MAST Manager serves the Anglican Diocese of Polynesia, covering Fiji, Tonga, Samoa, American Samoa, and a unit in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Accountability and reporting:
The MAST Manager is accountable to the Diocesan Secretary and Registrar.
Reports regularly to the MAST Management Committee.
Reports are also shared with the Diocesan Standing Committee.

Principal Accountabilities
4.1 The appointee shall have overall management of the Moana Hostel, St John's site, and MAST building, including:
Administration, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing and Sales of the MAST and Moana Hostel
4.2 Responsibilities include:
Oversight of the property and operation of the Moana Hostel
Monitoring the general operating budget
Staff recruitment
Purchase of equipment and catering needs
Promoting the MAST and Moana Hostel for accommodation and conference facility as a mission of the Church
Duties & Responsibilities
5.1 Administration
Oversight of the St John's site and MAST building including upkeep and security
Responsible for the entire operation of the Moana Hostel
Prepare reports and updates to The MAST Management Committee on the operation of the MAST and Moana Hostel
Purchase of equipment and catering needs for the MAST and Moana Hostel operation
5.2 Finance
Liaise with the Diocesan Treasurer on financial matters regarding the whole operation
Monitor the general operating budget
5.3 Human Resources
Work with the Diocesan Secretary/Registrar on staff recruitment and welfare for staff under the Moana Hostel department
Include staff contracts, fortnightly pays and overtime
5.4 Marketing & Sales
Promote the MAST & Moana Hostel for accommodation and conference facility as a mission of the church
Completion of all documentation for clients using the facility, including quotes and invoices
Respond to queries regarding the conference and hostel facilities in a timely manner
