Signature Cocktails Overview

  • This guide provides instructions and key ingredients for a variety of signature cocktails available at Jay's Steakhouse.

FLYING PRIVATE

  • Build Instructions:
    1. Put all ingredients into a shaker.
    2. Start with JF Hadens mango liquor/juice.
    3. Fill a wine glass with ice to the top.
    4. Shake all ingredients.
    5. Add 1.5 oz champagne to the tin, then pour into the ice-filled wine glass.
  • Key Ingredients:
    • 1.5 oz Diplomatico Exclusiva (Dark Rum)
    • 0.25 oz Select (Campari equivalent)
    • 0.25 oz Nonino (Italian herb liquor)
    • 1 oz JF Hadens Mango
    • 0.5 oz Lemon Juice
    • 0.5 oz Simple Syrup
    • 2 Dash Rhubarb Bitters
  • Garnish: Dehydrated Orange
  • Flavor Profile: Sour/Sparkling

BRUNCH IN SOUTH BEACH

  • Build Instructions:
    1. Add blackberries to the tin.
    2. Follow with lemon juice and honey syrup.
    3. Add rye last, then ice to the tin and shake hard until the blackberries dissolve to achieve a purple color.
  • Key Ingredients:
    • 1 oz Sagamore Rye
    • 1 oz Cointreau
    • 0.75 oz Lemon Juice
    • 0.75 oz Honey Syrup
    • 3-5 Blackberries
  • Garnish: 2 blackberries on skewer, fresh powdered sugar over blackberries

2 HOURS TO CANCUN

  • Build Instructions:
    1. Place 5 cubes of dragon fruit in the glass.
    2. Add spicy agave and lime juice.
    3. Finish with tequila, then shake all ingredients.
    4. Pour into DOF.

    • 2 oz Tromba Silver Tequila
    • 1 oz Lime Juice
    • 0.75 oz Spicy Agave Nectar
    • Black Salt

  • Build Instructions:
    1. Start with mint in the tin.
    2. Add lemon juice, Orgeat syrup, and Italicus.
    3. Finish with gin and fill the tin with ice, then shake.
  • Key Ingredients:
    • 1.5 oz Ford’s Gin
    • 0.5 oz Italicus
    • 0.75 oz Lemon Juice
    • 0.75 oz Liquid Alchemist Orgeat
    • Peychaud's Bitters
    • Small handful of mint
  • Garnish: Mint sprig topped with 3 dashes of bitters

JAY’S OLD FASHIONED

  • Build Instructions:
    1. Pre-batch: Start with 3 dashes of bitters over the brown sugar cube.
    2. Add a bar spoon full of cherry juice and soda water, then muddle.
    3. Mix all in the DOF.

    • 2 oz Woodford Rye
    • 3 dashes Angostura Bitters
    • Demerara Sugar Cube
    • Bar Spoon Cherry Juice

    1. Pre-batch: First add sweet vermouth, keep at cool temperature.
    2. Follow with Amaro Montenegro and mix all in glass, stir.

    • 1 oz Montenegro
    • 1 oz Lo-Fi Sweet Vermouth
    • Smoked orange wood

  • Build Instructions:

    • 0.5 oz Bella de Brie Pear Brandy
    • 1 oz Pink Guava Puree

JAY’S TEQUILA ESPRESSO MARTINI

  • Build Instructions:
    1. Start with vanilla syrup in the tin.
    2. Add JF Hadens espresso and finish with tequila.
    3. Add ice to the tin and shake all.

    • 1.5 oz Milagro Reposado
    • 0.75 oz JF Hadens (espresso liquor)
    • 1.5 oz Fresh Espresso
    • 0.25 oz Vanilla Syrup
  • Garnish: Dehydrated Lemon

ALL GROWN UP ORANGE JULIUS

  • Build Instructions:
    1. Start with orange juice, followed by heavy whipping cream.
    2. Add vanilla syrup and spirits last.
    3. Add all ingredients to a tin and shake, then put crushed ice in DOF.

    • 1.5 oz Stoli Orange Vodka
    • 0.5 oz Jameson Orange
    • 0.5 oz Orange Juice

  • Build Instructions:

  • Build Instructions:

EASY STREET

  • Build Instructions:
    1. Add fruit to the tin and muddle.
    2. Add lemon juice and St. Germain, followed by vodka.
    3. Add ice and shake for 5 seconds; top with soda water in tin, and pour into collins glass.

    • 1.5 oz Reyka Vodka
    • 0.75 oz St. Germain
    • 0.75 oz Lemon Juice
    • 0.25 oz Simple Syrup
    • 3 cucumber slices & mint

MONKEY SLIDE

  • Build Instructions:
    1. Add all items in a mixing jar, then add ice and stir.
    2. Whip the heavy cream, pouring it over the drink with the bar spoon upside down.

    • 1.5 oz JF Hadens espresso
    • Banana Cacao Float
