Water-in-Oil

In a water-in-oil is emulsion, the water is emulsified in oil.

Emulsified just means that two or more liquids that normally do not mix have even bonded together to created a stable, uniform mixture.

The lipophilic tail is pointing out, and the hydrophilic head is pointing in the water, droplet tiny droplets of water form the internal portion because it is completely surrounded by oil.

Water and oil emotions, feel greasier than oil and water emotions because the water is hidden and the oil is the external portion.

• Cold creams

• Sun tan lotions

• Foot balms
