Allusion:
- Referencing commonly known works for connection
Repetition:
- Repeating words or phrases so it becomes ingrained in thought
- Comparing objects to prove a point
Simile:
- Comparing unlike objects to prove a point using like or as
Change in Tone:
- When the tone shifts, it is usually purposeful
Personification:
- Helping to connect to an idea or object by making it seem human
Rhetorical Question:
- Making the audience think about something and usually cause emotional response
