Reading Greens on the Golf Course

• Assess the green slope; observe drainage directions, which can indicate the break.

• Walk around the hole to analyze the angle of the putt and identify the low side based on the break.

• Position yourself halfway between the ball and hole when evaluating the putt (except for very short distances).
