Validation Checks

Presence Checks: Just checks if anything is entered into the box or where you are supposed to enter something. As long as the user as entered something in, it will be counted as a presence check. It does not check what has actually been entered as long has something has been entered.

Range Checks: 1-100 (specific range)

Length Checks: Does x have 8 characters? (IF Yes = We good mud)

Format Checks: This type of validation check actually sees if what the user has entered is in the specific format that is being requested. For example, for Gmail it’s @ and if @ is missing in a email address it will say fuck you you little bitch

Visual Checks: Not a validation check, a human checks if the data entered is correct or not.
