  • Cardiovascular System: Transports nutrients, gases, and waste throughout the body

  • Lymphatic System: Supports immune function and fluid balance

  • Respiratory System: Facilitates gas exchange, bringing oxygen into the body and expelling carbon dioxide

  • Digestive System: Breaks down food for nutrient absorption and waste elimination

List the 4 common types of tissues

  • Epithelial Tissue: Separates the inside of the body from the outside of the body. Covers body surfaces and lines cavities.

  • Connective Tissue: Supports and binds other tissues and organs together, structurally and functionally. BLOOD, TENDONS & BONE.

  • Muscle Tissue: Tissue that contracts to generate MOVEMENT. Responsible for movement.

  • Neural or Nervous Tissue: Tissue that communicates with or controls other tissue.
