Urban areas are areas that have more buildings, offices and factory jobs. There are many people living in the area. Their use of land is usually offices, factories and shopping malls.

Rural areas are areas that are opposite of urban areas. Which has more fishponds,farmlands,and woodland.

Suburbs are areas something in between like Tsing lung tau or sham Tsang.
