A night of imagination

A night of imagination

By: Lexxi Ramirez

I wonder when I will sleep,

As shadows dance and secrets creep.

I see movement from the door to me,

A world of dreams,

Things look bent, twisted, and strange,

In the web of thoughts

My imagination again needs things to look creepy but after turning and tossing now I feel sleepy.

 After Tossing and turning

Creepy visions fade with morning light.

As dawn breaks,

A new day begins, my heart at rest.

I take a moment, a quiet prayer,

Thanking God for the love and care.

With a smile on my face,

I step into the world, ready to embrace.
