They were an enigmatic and sophisticated civilization, founded advanced theocratic city-states with kings and magistrates. Two of those city-states; Tarquinia and Veii, were powerful and prosperous. Dominating the region through trade and military power.
Skilled artisans in bronze and terracotta works that showcased their mastery of metallorgy and ceramics.
Society that valued both afterlife and the pleasure of the living world.
Some say Etruscans’ were gradually assimulated into the rome socity others say they were conquered and subjugated.

Heroic hero Aeneas
Trojan hero who escaped distruction of his city and embarked on a perilous journey to Italy. His tales immortalized in Virgil’s epic pome The Aeneid
In Imperial Rome the story of The Aeneid help serve as propanganda by linking the romans to the Ancient and noble lineage of the Trojans.

The Twins Romulas and Remus
Born by the god Mars(Ares) and Rhea Silvia who was a Vestai virgin.
Abandon at birth at a bank of the river (Tiber in Alba Longa)
Saved by a she-wolf who nursed the twins till are found by a sheppared.
Built a city on the site they have been saved but had a disptute leaving Romulas killing his bother Remus. Romulas names the city after him.
