  • scale, perception and symmetry:

  • scale: it referse to the relation of the size of the elements in the envirenment

  • perception: it shows the relations of different part of the building and how they relat to each other

  • perspective:

    • perspective in architecture focus on the math and artistic side

  • the vanishing point:

    • is imaginary point that all the line that are paralell in reality, intersect in this point

  • horizon line :

    • is imaginary horizon line that shows the viewers eyes level and help to see the position of each element

    • it shows the heigh at architectural elements are placed in the perspective drawing.

    • objects above the line look lower and object below it look heigher

  • illusion of depth:

    • is when we use the vanishing point, horizon line and reduce the elements size which make them look 3d and look away from the viewer

  • visual heirarchy in architecture:

    • it shows the placement of the elements and thier organization in the space to guide the viewer attention and thats by choosing elemetns to be put in the ffront and others in the background.

  • visual readability in architectur :

    • are symbols and sings that shows a details or explain something or simpely give an information about the place.
