What is a squaring number?
Example: 4 raised to the power or two / four square
Definition: Squaring means to multiply the base number two times
REMINDER: Multiply the base not the base and exponent
We do 4×4 which is 16, we do this because the exponent is two which means that we multiply four two times.
What are some perfect squares?
One squared =1
Two squared =4
Three squared =9
Four squared =16
Five Squared =25
Six Squared =36
Seven Squared =49

What is opposite of SQUARE?
Definition: Square root is the opposite of SQUARING
Example: The square root of 36 is 6, this means what number times itself gives us 36, which is 6 because 6×6=36
