Hernan Cortez - Spanish conquistador who overthrew the Aztec empire and claimed Mexico for Spain.

Christopher Columbus - first discovered the Americas and set foot as first explorer

Francisco Pizarro - Spanish explorer that conquered the Incas and killed their leader, and also founded the city of Lima

Prince Henry the Navigator- was from Portugal , helped many explorations 

Vasco Da Gama was a portuguese explorer and royalty 

Jacques Cartier - French maritime explorer who mapped out and led expeditions on the St. Lawrence River

Sir Francis Drake- was from the United Kingdom, he explored the globe during 1577 to 1580.
