  • Breastfeeding offers significant health benefits for both infants and mothers, supported by extensive research:
    • Research statistics show that breastfed infants have a lower risk of respiratory infections, ear infections, and allergies compared to formula-fed infants.
    • Studies also indicate that breastfeeding is associated with a reduced risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).
    • Mothers who breastfeed may experience a decreased risk of postpartum depression, as well as lower rates of breast and ovarian cancers later in life.
