Suboccipital Triangle

  • Know the boundaries and contents

    • Innervation of all muscles here is Suboccipital nerve

    • Blood supply is Vertebral Artery

  • Suboccipital nerve (C1) does not give off a cutaneous branch

    • There is no C1 dermatome

Greater Occipital Nerve - C2

Least Occipital Nerve - C3

SP of C2 attachments:

All 3 bones of the Os Coxa contribute to the Acetabulum

  • largest contribution is the Ischium

Know the Gluteal lines of the Ilium

  • Glute max attaches posterior to posterior line

  • Glute med between poster and anterior lines

  • Glute Min between anterior and inferior lines

Pubic Tubercle - Attachment for Inguinal ligament

PIN structures through Lesser Sciatic Foramen

  • Pudendal nerve
