(Unit 1.4) if given a percent without any masses then we should assume but we should make a suitable assumption (x is an element and xy is a compound) *mass (x) → mole (x) → mole (xy) → mass (xy) → % of (xy)
(Unit 1.4) mass of element= mass of mixture x % of element/100
