Subject Pronouns

Both tu and usted are used when speaking directly to someone. You use tu in casual situations (like talking to a friend), and usted when talking in a formal situation (like with a parent or teacher).
You use ustedes when speaking to a group of people, like how we use “you all”.
A teacher may use ustedes to address their class.
