1. Advocate: To recommend, support, or advise, one who advocates.

2. Amalgamate: To combine or to mix together.

3. Anachronism: Something old-fashioned.

4. Cacophony: Loud and chaotic noise.

5. Calumny: Lie or slander.

6. Chauvinist: Someone who believes prejudicially that their own group is the superior one.

7. Chicanery: Trickery or deception

8. Connoisseur: An expert in a particular subject matter area, usually relating to the fine arts or cultural pursuits.

9. Cosmopolitan: Of or relating to a city or urban area, sophisticated.

10.  Craft: Cunning, skill.

11.  Dirge: Funeral or mourning lament, any sad, slow song.

12.  Eschew: Avoid or abstain from.

13.  Exigent: Urgent or pressing.

14.  Exposition: A thorough explanation, a public show or fair.

15.  Intimate: Close (as in a relationship), particularly private.

16.  Nonplussed: Confused and baffled.

17.  Occlude: To block or obstruct.

18.  Occult: The mystical and supernatural.

19.  Partisan: A devoted supporter of a group, cause, or person.

20.  Tirade: An angry rant.
