Religion
Gnosticism
The Belief that Jesus was not human & did not have a human body.
Gnostic Dualism:
The belief that the material world is bad and the spiritual world is good.
Catholic Doctrines and Precepts
The Five Precepts of the Catholic Church are:
attending Mass on Sundays and holy days while refraining from unnecessary labor,
confessing mortal sins at least once a year,
receiving Holy Communion during the Easter season,
observing prescribed fasting and abstinence rules
contributing to the Church's material needs.
Conditions and Types of Sin
Catholic theology distinguishes between mortal and venial sin. A sin is mortal when three conditions are simultaneously met: grave matter, full knowledge of its wrongfulness, and deliberate consent. In contrast, venial sin wounds one's relationship with God without destroying sanctifying grace.
