Admission Process Summary
Stage I: Online Application
- Candidates must complete the online application form available on the official AKU website.
- Required documents to be submitted include academic transcripts, a completed application form, and reference letters.
- Candidates must take the AKU Test or an equivalent examination as part of the application process.
Stage II: Interview Process
- Based on the performance in the AKU Test, shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews.
- Two interviews will be conducted, and the final decision will be based on test performance and interview evaluations.
Requirements for Eligibility
Educational Qualifications:
- Candidates must have completed their Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or an equivalent qualification.
- PMDC subject requirements include Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics, which must be met.
Provisional Applications:
- Candidates currently writing final exams in Summer 2025 can apply provisionally.
- They must present results by the specified deadlines for final admission consideration.
Repeat Applications:
- Candidates who are not successful can reapply once, with a maximum of two attempts allowed in total.
Obtaining an Equivalence Certificate
- International Qualifications:
- Candidates whose qualifications are from non-Pakistani systems must secure an equivalence certificate from the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) to confirm eligibility.
The AKU Test and Its Equivalent
- Test Requirements:
- All candidates, both local and overseas, must take the AKU Test.
- International candidates holding an undergraduate degree may submit MCAT scores that meet the minimum required thresholds for consideration.
Application Timeline
Application Period:
- Applications will be accepted from March 09 to May 08, 2025.
- Candidates must apply online within this timeframe.

- AKU Admission Test: July 20, 2025, with test locations available in Pakistan and other countries.
- Classes for the MB
