Migration is defined as the movement of people from one place to another. Migration can be:
Voluntary - when people migrate willingly.
Involuntary - when people migrate unwillingly. (Political oppression, Natural disaster, Religious oppression)
International - when people leave their country to go somewhere else.
Internal - the movement of people from a rural area to another.
DIFFERENT TYPES OF MIGRANTS
Someone who takes up residence in another country is a migrant.
Someone who leaves their country to take up residence in another country is an immigrant.
A Return Migrant is someone who has lived overseas or abroad for many years and moved home again.
