• A group of cells that all have similar structure and function as a unit

• Example = Muscle tissue, connective tissue

Organs

• Collection of tissues that forms a functional unit

• Example = heart, brain

Systems

• A group of organs that work together to perform a common function

• Example = circulatory system, respiratory system
