Syllable Formation:
Vowels can be pronounced as independent syllables.
In writing, a consonant or soundless ‘ㅇ’ must precede vowels for balance.: 아, 어, 오, 우, 으, 이, 애, 에, 외, 위.
Vertical Vowels (formed from ‘l’): ㅏ, ㅓ, ㅣ
Placed to the right of the initial consonant.
Horizontal Vowels (formed from ‘ㅡ’): ㅗ, ㅜ, ㅣ
Placed below the initial consonant.
