  5. Mass – Amount of matter in an object.

  6. Volume – Space an object takes up.

  7. Density – How tightly packed particles are.

  8. Temperature – Measure of heat energy.

  9. Heat – Energy that moves from warm to cold.

  10. Melting – Solid becomes liquid.

  11. Freezing – Liquid becomes solid.

  12. Evaporation – Liquid becomes gas.

  13. Condensation – Gas becomes liquid.

  14. Boiling point – Temperature where liquid boils.

  15. Mixture – Two or more substances combined but not chemically.

  16. Solution – Mixture where one substance dissolves in another.

  17. Soluble – Can dissolve.

  18. Insoluble – Cannot dissolve.

  19. Conductor – Allows heat or electricity to pass.

  20. Insulator – Slows or stops heat/electricity.

  21. Physical change – Change in appearance but not substance.

  22. Chemical change – Forms a new substance.
