Geography: The study of the earth

Atlanta: 33.7833 degrees north, 84.3831 degrees west (34N, 84W)

• First city of Georgia was savannah because it was good military wise and was costal so was good for ports. And was defendable because they had a higher vantage point.

• Second city of Georgia was Augusta because they have a fault line so ships couldn’t go past it, Trading paths also collided with the native Americans near Augusta so they could trade for deer skins.

• Third city to be made in Georgia was Atlanta, because they needed a railroad hub and Decatur did not want the railroad, and transportation hub so Atlanta was created 7 miles to the west.
