Final Project and Exam Timeline
- Submit both by Friday, May 12, 11:59 PM.
- Cannot make up incomplete submissions; zeros will be assigned.
Weight of Assignments
- Final project and final exam together constitute 20% of total course grade.
- Remaining 80% from coursework (units 1-7).
Final Project Structure
- Two parts: Escribir (Writing) and Hablar (Speaking).
- Must be in Spanish, no translation tools allowed.
Escribir (Writing) Part
- Minimum of four sentences per unit topic (totaling at least 28 sentences).
- Topics include: Basic conversation, school, housing, family, hobbies, food, and shopping.
- Use structures, vocabulary from previous lessons.
Hablar (Speaking) Part
- Record at least two paragraphs comparing experiences in Costa Rica vs. the United States.
- Avoid reciting previously written sentences; focus on live comparisons.
Reflection (English)
- Answer questions about differences between Spanish and native language.
Key Verb Forms
- Important verbs: ( ser ) (to be) and ( estar ) (to be).
- Review conjugation for ( -ar, -er, -ir ) ending verbs.
Grammar Focus
- Use of present tense for conjugation.
- Emotions expressed with ( estar ).
