  • Final Project and Exam Timeline

    • Submit both by Friday, May 12, 11:59 PM.
    • Cannot make up incomplete submissions; zeros will be assigned.
  • Weight of Assignments

    • Final project and final exam together constitute 20% of total course grade.
    • Remaining 80% from coursework (units 1-7).
  • Final Project Structure

    • Two parts: Escribir (Writing) and Hablar (Speaking).
    • Must be in Spanish, no translation tools allowed.
  • Escribir (Writing) Part

    • Minimum of four sentences per unit topic (totaling at least 28 sentences).
    • Topics include: Basic conversation, school, housing, family, hobbies, food, and shopping.
    • Use structures, vocabulary from previous lessons.
  • Hablar (Speaking) Part

    • Record at least two paragraphs comparing experiences in Costa Rica vs. the United States.
    • Avoid reciting previously written sentences; focus on live comparisons.
  • Reflection (English)

    • Answer questions about differences between Spanish and native language.
  • Key Verb Forms

    • Important verbs: ( ser ) (to be) and ( estar ) (to be).
    • Review conjugation for ( -ar, -er, -ir ) ending verbs.
  • Grammar Focus

    • Use of present tense for conjugation.
    • Emotions expressed with ( estar ).
  • Suggested Tools for Submission

    • Padlet, Google Slides, Vocaroo for audio.
  • Review Material

    • Vocabulary lists were provided; ensure to use them for sentence creation.
