1. Mien
Definition: A person’s look or manner, especially one indicating their character or mood.
Example: Her calm mien reassured everyone in the room.


2. Candor (Candour)
Definition: The quality of being open, honest, and straightforward in speech or expression.
Example: He spoke with surprising candor about his past mistakes.


3. Veracity
Definition: Truthfulness; accuracy.
Example: The witness's veracity was questioned during the trial.


4. Discursive
Definition: Digressing from subject to subject; rambling OR relating to discourse (formal discussion).
Example: His discursive writing style made the essay hard to follow.


5. Laconic
Definition: Using very few words; concise to the point of seeming rude or mysterious.
Example: The coach gave a laconic reply: “Do better.”


6. Flippant
Definition: Not showing a serious or respectful attitude; overly casual.
Example: Her flippant comment about the accident upset everyone.


7. Feign
Definition: To pretend to feel or be affected by something.
Example: He feigned surprise, though he already knew the news.


8. Vindictive
Definition: Having or showing a strong desire for revenge.
Example: Her vindictive remarks hinted at a deep grudge.


9. Pretentious
Definition: Attempting to impress by showing more importance, talent, or culture than is actually possessed.
Example: His pretentious vocabulary didn’t hide his shallow arguments.


10. Satirical
Definition: Using humor, irony, or exaggeration to criticize or expose flaws in people, politics, or society.
