Nazi Economics

This is just me rambling and blurbing all I can remember about Nazi economics since I don’t have my book with me.

Nazi economics was suppposedly known for improving the country, whilst behind doors it was forecfully pushed and regulated. For example, unemployment rate, although i do not have the exact statistics, I do know that the Nazi’s supposedly solved the issue but rather they forced poeple between the ages of 18-25 in conscription and or removed ethnic and non-ethnic minorties from the unemployment statistics. This was also known as invisible unemployment, which didn’t show these groups of people in the statistics.

Not only that but people who didn’t succeed in school or were in upper classes were forced into work with minimal to no pay whilst working long hours. But they were given low skill jobs, not something like electrical oir engineering, more like brick-laying and moving materials.

Another way Nazi economics was operated was through the New Plan. The new plan was operated and led by Schacht, a well renowed economist, both praised by foreign leaders and business leaders. Schact made the new plan to aid Hitler and Germany in rearmement. Rearmement was a goal for the Nazi’s due to strong militaristic and nationalistic pride.
