Genesis Chapter 1:

From 1:1 to 1:31, God includes six days where he creates light that he sees is good and separates it from the darkness where he calls the light Day and the darkness Night. Firmaments were made and he called it Heaven, while separating dry land from water where one was called Sea and the other Earth. Finally, he commanded Earth to bring seeds, grass and fruit-bearing trees, which was farming, while creating the sun, moon, years and so on. Finally, he created humans in his image, the beast of the earth and animals of all kinds, and blessed them as they roamed the land. Food was meat, and for every meat, there was green (herb).

Genesis Chapter 2:

From 2:1 to 2:25, God creates humanity where LORD God had not made it rain upon earth, and there was no man to till the ground. However, the LORD God formed the man of the dust, breathed through his nostrils, and it became a living soul. There, they called it a man, and he lived in the Garden of Eden. They decided to name the man Adam, and whatever he named a living thing, that would be the name of it. And when Adam fell into deep sleep, LORD God took one of his ribs and made what we called a woman, because he was taken out of the man. Therefore, if one man leaves their father and mother, and shall unto his wife; they will be one flesh.

From 3:1 to 3:24, this includes Adam naming the woman that he is living with to be Eve, and they, in the Garden of Eden, know of a forbidden tree called The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. God has warned them not to eat fruit from that tree, as it would result in death and be in symbolic to a loss in fellowship, but Adam and Eve are tempted because of the serpent question’s God’s command and tricks them into eating the forbidden fruit. There, they eat the forbidden fruit and God punishes them to learn about the good and the evil by expelling them from the Garden of Eden.

Genesis Chapter 4:

From 4:1 to 4:26, Abel and Cain are introduced as Eve and Adam’s son- Abel being a Shepard and Cain being a farmer. The two sons both offer sacrifices, one being a flock of sheep and the other providing his finest crops. However, upon God accepting only Abel’s offer, Cain feel jealousy and rejection and murders his brother Abel. After doing so, God confronts him and punishes him- Cain is no longer able to grow crops and is a restless fugitive and cannot settle anywhere. However, his mercy and protection is that no one may kill him and if anyone harms Cain, they will receive a punishment seven times worse.
