    • Stops or inhibits protein synthesis

    • All the above facts do not happen in humans

 

Why do viral infections not heal with antibiotics

  • Because viruses do not have any cellular structures

    • They are acellular

  • When they no longer affect the bacteria

  • Can be caused by excessive intake of antibiotics

  • Doctor should prescribe only when necessary / wrongly prescribed

  • When bacteria does not respond to antibiotic take

  • Not completing the course
