Heart issues and terms

Arrythmias: These are abnormalities in the heart's rhythm. Some may just uncomfortable. Some may be fatal.

Tachycardia: heart beats too fast, e.g. great than 100 bpm at rest

Bradycardia:The heart beats too slow, less than 60 bpm at rest

Sinus arrythmia: The heart rate increases when you breathe in and decreases when you breathe out.Usually not something to worry about

Ventricular fibrillation: The signals going to the ventricles are rapid and chaotic, which cause them to quiver instead of beating in a coordinated way. This can be fatal

Flatline or Asystole: You don't have a heartbeat. There is little chance of survival.
